She previously worked for a family in Myanmar for 4 years consisting of the employer, employer’s husband, a 5-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy and one cat. She mentioned that her main responsibility was taking care of the children, along with managing household duties such as cleaning and cooking.
She shared that she was responsible for the children’s daily care including bathing, changing clothes, feeding, playing together, doing drawing activities, sending and picking them up from school and providing care according to their needs. As a mother, she mentioned that she is comfortable handling children’s daily routines and is able to provide care with patience and attention.
She shared that she enjoys childcare and is more confident in taking care of children. She is able to care for children from around 2 years old onwards and can manage two children at the same time if required. She is also comfortable sleeping together with the child if required.
She is able to cook Myanmar dishes and simple Chinese dishes. She can follow recipes and is willing to learn more cooking styles according to the employer’s preference. She can manage general household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing and maintaining household cleanliness.
She shared that she loves dogs and cats. She has experience keeping dogs at home, including bathing them. She is comfortable working in households with pets.
Through the interaction at the training centre, she appears to be a patient and caring person. She is willing to cooperate, learn and adapt to the employer’s requirements.
